2^η – 3^η ενότητα: Οξυγονοθεραπεία

4^η ενότητα: Ανάλυση κλινικών περιστατικών αποφρακτικών και περιοριστικών παθήσεων- κατευθυντήριες οδηγίες

5^η – 6 ενότητα: Πνευμονική αποκατάσταση

7^η ενότητα: Βρογχική αναρρόφηση

 8^η ενότητα: Μη Επεμβατικός Αερισμός (ΜΕΜΑ)

9^η ενότητα: Αναπνευστήρες - Μηχανικός αερισμός 

10^η ενότητα: Προγράμματα εκπαίδευσης των αναπνευστικών μυών στη ΜΕΘ

11^η ενότητα: Πρώιμη κινητοποίηση ασθενών ΜΕΘ

13^η ενότητα: Ανάλυση κλινικών περιστατικών της ΜΕΘ

Μετά την ολοκλήρωση του μαθήματος, οι φοιτητές θα πρέπει να είναι σε θέση:

• να συνεργάζονται με την πολυ-επιστημονική ομάδα της κάθε κλινικής για κάθε περιστατικό ξεχωριστά
• να προσεγγίζουν και να επικοινωνούν με κάθε κατηγορία ασθενών (διαφορετικών εθνικοτήτων, θρησκειών, κλπ.)
• να αξιολογούν τον αναπνευστικό και χειρουργημένο ασθενή με βάση την ενδεδειγμένη μεθοδολογία και να διαχειρίζονται τα ευρήματα της αξιολόγησης αυτής, μέσα από έναν ολοκληρωμένο κλινικό συλλογισμό
• να κατανοούν την ποικιλία των επιλογών στην κλινική πρακτική, να ενημερώνουν τους ασθενείς για τα πιθανά οφέλη της  κάθε επιλογής και να επιλέγουν, από κοινού, τις πλέον κατάλληλες και ασφαλείς για την πραγματοποίηση των βραχυπρόθεσμων και μακροπρόθεσμων, κατά περίπτωση, στόχων
• να επαναξιολογούν την επιλεγμένη παρέμβαση
• να συνεργάζονται και με άλλες ειδικότητες επιστημόνων υγείας, όπου αυτό κρίνεται απαραίτητο (multidisciplinary meetings).
